More Women In Senior Leadership
We believe that both women and men are equally gifted and equally called to all areas of leadership within the church and that the church will be healthy and whole when led by both women and men.
As we come alongside women who may want to lead in churches, support their leadership journey and work with churches to equip them to be safe and equitable places for women to lead, we will see sustained female leaders in senior leadership serving healthy churches.
Joanna was a disciple of Jesus – one of the first to see and testify to the risen Jesus (Luke 24:10). She lived by her own means and also supported the other disciples (Luke 8:3). Joanna Calling participates in this spirit of seeing leaders and equipping communities.
Leadership Pathway
Walking alongside women with mentoring, networks, and care that honours their unique blend of past experience, present life stage and future priorities
At Joanna Calling, we will walk with pastors through each season and transition of their leadership pathway — paying close attention not only to who they are and what they do, but also to the contexts in which they serve.
Joanna Calling will provide a sponsored two year Pastors in Residence pathway for early career female pastors to ensure long term formation and sustainability.
Church Framework
Equipping churches to employ female Pastors in Residence both financially and also through shaping culture, policy, and practice so women can lead.
At Joanna Calling we will assist churches in adopting leadership frameworks that ensure women and men can flourish and confidently lead alongside each other. These frameworks will be adaptable depending on denomination, church expression and local context.
Joanna Calling will provide organisational wisdom, advice and guidance towards becoming communities that enjoy the leadership of well formed and sustained practitioners.
